Licensed Clinical Social Worker
“While many women value independence, doing life entirely on our own can feel exhausting.
Meaningful relationships are essential to our well-being.
Sometimes we just need a helping hand to learn the skills that make healthier relationships possible.”
I’m Jessica Forero, Licensed Psychotherapist and founder of The Edge of Greatness Psychotherapy. Based in Tampa, I provide psychotherapy via telehealth to adult women across Florida — with a focus on clients in South Tampa and Boca Raton. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, intense emotions, relationship challenges, and complex trauma.
I hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Florida and completed specialized training at Rogers Behavioral Health, where I supported individuals and families facing anxiety, OCD, depression, self-harm, suicidality, and eating disorders. Additionally, I completed an 18-month post-graduate internship in community mental health, where I provided therapy for adults with complex and co-occurring conditions, including trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders.
My approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Sessions are structured, practical, and supportive — blending concrete skill-building with space for reflection and growth. My role is to help you identify what matters most, reduce barriers in your way, and develop strategies you can carry into your daily life.
This clinical foundation shapes the way I work today: therapy that is both evidence-based and deeply human.
My style is collaborative and adaptive — direct when clarity is needed, and gentle when encouragement is most helpful. Together we’ll set goals, track progress, and adjust along the way so your time leads to lasting results: steadier emotions, healthier relationships, better sleep, and a calmer nervous system.
